The Centre of International Insecurity

The Biden administration is no longer in charge of the White House. Relying on a select network of think-tanks and their corporate proxies, the Big Defense is. What it wants, it seems to get.

The Centre of International Insecurity

Scott [Horton] is joined by Dan Steinbock to discuss an article he wrote about the network of Democratic organizations running American foreign policy. Steinbock has dug deep into the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) and WestExec Advisors, two organizations that have allowed top foreign policy officials to make money cycling between government, think tank and advisory roles. Steinbock also takes a step back and examines how these organizations are connected to weapons companies, Wall Street and technology firms.

The New York Times Is Wrong: China Has No Leverage Over Twitter

Everyone has the right to criticize Musk’s purchase of Twitter and the US government can investigate it if they have a legitimate reason to, but none of that has anything to do with China, which should be left out of this controversy.

The New York Times Is Wrong: China Has No Leverage Over Twitter

Elon Musk’s business ties to China draw scrutiny after Twitter purchase

My commentary: They conveniently omit Musk’s contracts with the US government. Also, I’ve already debunked the Xinjiang issue and the Hong Kong protests weren’t about ‘democracy.’

Head To Your Local Gas Station or Supermarket To End the US Proxy War in Ukraine

Head To Your Local Gas Station or Supermarket To End the US Proxy War in Ukraine

To be clear the extraordinary 7.9% inflation increase predates the crisis in Ukraine although Joe Biden has attempted to blame it all on the thoroughly demonized Putin. But unless cause can come after effect, Joe has a tough argument to make there. However, it is clear that the war and the sanctions that go with it are accelerating inflation. (Today as this is written, the March figures for inflation were released showing consumer prices jumping to 8.5%, a 40 year high.)

It is clear that the public is very likely to oppose US sanctions on Russia and US involvement in Ukraine IF either proves to drive up gas prices, food prices and other items in an accelerated inflationary spiral.

Our strategy should be to link the inflation with prolonging a war in a faraway land which has little to do with US security and risks a nuclear confrontation with Russia.

We should have rallies opposing ALL US involvement in Ukraine by tying them to gas prices, food prices, rents and other items.

No weapons to Ukraine. No sanctions on the world. End the war and stop the inflation.

Nice idea, but good luck with it! The largest antiwar protests couldn’t even stop the Iraq War! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just How United Is NATO (And the World) Against Russia?

It’s been obvious the entire world and some of NATO is not in sync with US edicts concerning the Russian/Ukraine situation. One can’t help but notice China, India, Pakistan, Brazil many nations in the middle east are NOT on board with the way the US is conducting international relations at this time. Turkey was not appeasing the US either.

Just How United Is NATO (And the World) Against Russia?

The Polish outlet Onet.Pl has gained access to a secret project to deploy peacekeepers from a number of NATO countries to Ukraine developed at Poland’s Ministry of National Defense. Warsaw is expected to officially present it at the NATO summit on March 24. The US does not want to participate but may agree to a mission of several other countries.

However, Poland kept trying to secure support, and apparently had found it. Government spokesman Piotr Muller had stated that Poland has received positive responses from separate NATO countries despite official sceptical responses. He did not disclose which countries these were, but officially, Lithuania and Denmark had previously expressed support for such a mission. Poland is currently in talks with other Western capitals.
